1300C ready for the Darkside
I registered here in July but this is my first post since I'll be going to the CT soon. My current rear tire (Avon Venom) is lasting longer
then expected since it was mounted with dynabeads. I've been reading in here about why/why-not on different tire choices including
air pressure to seat beads, stiff sidewalls and width from bead to bead, and 65 vs 70, for the 1300C.
I think I've narrowed down my choices to the General Grabber, the Douglas and the Nexen CP641, all at 205/65R15.
Any other options I should consider? Any reason why one is a better choice? And yes, no matter which I end up with, It'll have 3oz of
dynabeads.
Thanks and Happy New Year to everyone.

shark bait.....hoooooo haaaaaa hhaaaaaa! Sorry I had to do that!......
Glad you decided to try the darkside......I wont ride anything else! I think it will just come down to a personal preference! I have short legs, so I like the 65 series! Other than that, I would run what I liked the either!
Let us know what you decide! Happy New Year to you also!

maybe I'm wrong about the tire size, but the tallest option plus short legs equals the best route? Just curious Twin..... maybe you're taller than you think?

Welcome to the site!
I like flat footed when stopping a better position for me! I don't like being on my toes! So, I like the shorter profile tire!..................
