fairing for 1300 c
I've really been looking at the extreme revolution fairing for the winter. Anyone have any info to share on the ride? Wind buffeting, does it keep the wind off your hands ect. thanks

Iham,
I run a Batwing from a HD that I installed myself before any of these companies put any of these out! I did it for the same reason you are....the windshield just put more wind on my hands and winter time, I couldn't find enough gloves to keep me warm! I daily commute with my ride in all weather so I needed something to stop the wind. So I installed the batwing and love it! I cut the shield shorter to 6" from 8" because I don't worry about the wind on my face, just hands. I went for the look! I can wear thinner gloves in the same weather than I used to be able to wear! I give it "two snaps and a rewind!"....
Here's a pic of my ride!
This is before the windshield was installed....I like it just like that also!
Here's me and Smokey the center two with a batwing fairings on our 1300's! He rides like I do! If we are a wake...we are riding! The weather is NOT a consideration!........

fairing
Thanks for the reply, seems the older I get, the colder it gets in the winter. A fairing might do the trick. Good pic's, thanks

Re: fairing for 1300 c
I run a full batwing with inner fairing. It does keep it off my hands .... but it does throw more at the tank then into my chest. Not to bad on the buffeting just cold. I have been looking at the 1800 wings and the bmw k1200lt. Right now I am leaning more toward the beemer. I am looking for a sportier drier ride and think these 2 bikes offer more of what I am looking for. The X will stay around and go solo if I do get one. At least thats what I am telling "Dude" my 13 yo son that drools over the scoot. See how it all plays out later....
See you out there

Good job, looks good. Been thinking of doing the same thing. Do you have any pictures from the seat. I'd kind of like to see the inside.
