My bike rides so nice on my Goodyear fuel max tire that I ride faster than before without realizing it. That could lead to tickets.

I have gone 1500 miles on my Sportster now with the car tire. My impression is that the car tire rides better than MC tires on good roads but MC tires are easier to ride on bad roads. I think most people going any real distance will be on good roads.

I inflated the tire to only 5 PSI and rode the bike around in my bumpy horse pasture to see if it would come off the rim and lose air. Even at that low pressure the tire stayed on just fine. I think the rim bead not being designed for a car tire is really not a big issue. The rim on my bike is a standard Harley spoke rim with spokes sealed to allow the use of a tubeless tire.

As I was riding yesterday, I was thinking about the fact that bike rims have a different bead configuration than car rims. I've been riding on the Darkside for thirteen years and currently have three motorcycles with car tires. I've never had a problem with the tires coming off the beads, but I have never ridden with severely low pressure.
