2001 shadow a.c.e 1100 tourer

I am new to the forum and the bike world. Today I decided to remove the end pipe from my mufflers by cutting off the stem portion of the exhaust from both sides witch consisted of about 6 inches of a pipe welded inside the outermost pipe it was wrapped with fiber matting I am wondering if I will have to mess with the carbs to get it to run properly all I used was a sawzall to the end part that reduces from the back before hand I had drilled 4 holes in the ends to increase out flow I and curious if I buggered stuff up let me know
