Guy called Kevin, really helpful.

Ask for 0.8 ~ 1.0mm Zirconium Silicate beads and tell him it's for tyre balancing, he'll set you up with a pound or two for $6 / lb plus shipping.

How much are Dyan Beads? Too much.
