Here is a guy that put two ct's up front on his MP3 400, looks good and he likes it. I don't know who makes the tire(Durun) but I like the tread. I have read where a lot of the MP3 riders putting ct's out back because they get worse mileage on their tires than we do.

I tried; really. Just since I'm not on a little "scooter" (some of us ol' timers still call our bikes 'scoots') I just didint have enough curiosity to finish the thread,
once the guy said he was putting a CT on front and a BT on back. Talk about suicidal. Done.

From what I have gathered they have a real hard time finding a car tire for the rear of the MP3 500. But at 540 LBS dry weight I wouldn't call them a "little scooter". I like the way it looks but how it rides, I have no idea. I give him two thumbup thumbup because he tried it after everyone else told him he would crash and burn(we have been told the same thing about our bikes) and so far he's still alive and riding. I just scrolled down to see the pic's and I would love to see how fast I could bring it down from 60 to 0 with all that rubber up front(if I could keep the back end from coming up and over the top).

I would feel like a hypocrite if I said the same "your going to crash and burn" crap to him that others said to me(and most of us on here) that they had never or will never try it themselves. I would and did tell him to take it easy at first till he got use to how it handled. So far he says he's not going back the a m/c tire ever again(now where have I read that before). Very Happy

Ya, I'll concede all that. But again, in ANY thread about CT's I feel it's important to know how the rider rides. A flower sniffer may get away with a lot more
than those of us scraping boards on the outside edge of a canyon road. I sincerely cannot see how one could push it this way with a CT on the front, really.
I like the known formula of Double Darkside, but a tip of the hat to experimenters: that's how we got HERE!
