98 road king 130 90 16
New member here. Sorry because I'm sure you have probably heard this very same question numerous times.
I have a 98 Road King and the tire size is 130 90 16 or MT90 B16. I checked between the tire and drive belt and that clearance is 1/2".
I'm getting HORRIBLE mileage with regular motorcycle tires. 3-5000. I'm riding kind of heavy, maybe 420 lbs for 2 riders and many times add to that the weight of enough gear for a few weeks on the road. Rear tire has been cupping at 3000 miles. Metzler ME880. They work great for a single rider but with 2 up I eat the rear tire up. Ive worn out countless motorcycle tires in the last 90,000 miles so now I'm ready to come over to the Darkside. Can anyone help me find a CT that will fit?

I feel ya dude, but I don't think anything is gonna fit - the 175's are the smallest sold here, unless you risked, and I do believe it's risk, a donut.
I did see one post from some crazy running them successfully so far, but I can't remember what size bike it was.
Anyone?

I have posted this in the Harley Davidson section but... I have an 85 FLHTC and just put a Coker 550R16 on it. Same width and 1 inch taller. At 50 psi it feels pretty good.

Stay in touch. We'll want riding style and mileage total at it's replacement.
