Passenger comfort? Empty Passenger comfort?

Post  Hoagie88 Tue Jun 19, 2012 11:36 pm

I really like my '88 Shadow, especially since I put a car tire on it. But, I wish I could take my wife for a decent ride. Her legs get cramped and her rump needs a break every few miles. I'll probably get a Goldwing someday but for now it would be nice to modify the old bike. Any ideas?

They have foot peg extentions that move the foot pegs or boards out/forward about 3". My wife like the Mustang seat, but they also have a buddy seat that fits on the current seat. It's wider so gives more support from what I have read. Hopefully someone that has used one will chime in.

Good one! I'll look into it. The buddy seat sounds interesting.

You can go with a sheepskin seat cover for her too, have her wear wicking sports type undies and use powder.
