I'm sure this has been covered many times but I'm looking to put a CT on a GL1500 and needed to know what size. I'm a double dark rider on my GL1800 but this is for a friend that has a GL1500 with a side car. Thanks Shrug Shrug

A 175/60/16 should fit your friends 1500 with no problem. thumbup

I have the Austone on my GL1500. You can find my story on this forum here: https://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/t4333-175r16-austone-taxi-tire?highlight=austone or on Steve's forum here: http://www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=120741&forum_id=4&highlight=austone

Go with the Austone for the sidecar for the height as it is an 80 series height aspect tire, taller than the m/c tire rather than shorter like the 60 series tires.
Do a forum search on Austone and on sidecar and read the results.

This good info for those with a 1500. I had wanted to go dark for a few years when I had mine. But only a few had ever ventured it, so I passed. Thanks
