I put a Pirelli 190c 165/65-14 winter/ice tire on the rear wheel since 16k mi.

I keep it inflated at 42 psi. never a problem.

My passenger and I combined approx. 320 lb., smoother 2-up riding, better road feel on highways.

Great scooter and it's good to see one going darkside, although I never thought I'd see one do it.

That seems to be the tire size other Burgman owners are going with. Looks good in there.

Just bought another Burgman, after I sold my last one 4 years ago.

Kenda 165/65-14 Spyder tire.. not a real car tire, but $45 new, doesn't hurt to try it out.

Normally, I would run a Nokian Nordman 155/65R14 winter/ice/snow tire, about $65 a piece on eBay.

About how many miles do you get out of the winter tire? I have a friend that has a MP3 and he's looking for a new rear tire. He rides in the bay area so he's in the wet a lot and I bet that tire would give great traction when its wet.

Snow/Ice tire I had 14k miles before I sold my Burgman back in 2012.. mostly 2-up riding, too.
It still had plenty of tread and soft compound seemed to hold up pretty good.
I think 20k miles is pretty safe for the snow/ice tire with my usage.

The Kenda has a rather low weight rating. I would not use it on a B650.

I've ridden about 8k miles on it, zero problem until I ran over a nail, had to ride it flat for 13 miles, plug it roadside then inflate up to pressure, ride for another 80 miles home (with some sidewall wear), then replace the tire.
