I have a 98 GL1500SE Sidecar combo and having returned from our first (3500) Km trip, I'm thinking of replacing the tires.

Having researched a few forums, it seems that the Federal Forenza FD2 175/60R-16/ Vredestine Comtrac 175 75R-16/ and the Dunlop Run Flat 175 60 16 are the favorites for the rear.

I can only find two alternatives for the front, i.e. Bridgestone Battlax BT 45, and the Dunlop E3. I would, however, rather want to fit a car tire in the front too. Which ones are available and suitable?

My personal preference is the Vredestine Comtrac 175 75R-16 for the rear because it is slightly taller and thus have a "positive" influence on the RPM. But my question is ... what about the front tire? If I fit the Vredestine, which tire would be the better one for the front?

I sure would like to hear comments about the front end.
