Just got an 06 Stratoliner after a 05 Venture Tire are eating me up. I ride to work each day in the Texas Hill country 90 miles round trip. I have had the bike 2 months and 3500 miles. My tires go about 5000 on the Venture and I expect the same on the Strat. I have been researching this for a while and I just found this forum and I am excited. I have been looking at 205 55r 17 tires. Does anyone use this size tire on their Strat?

My rear is a 190 60 17 I am a bigger guy 6'6" 260 and i ride 2 up. i just don't want to rub 2 up so I am looking at the 205 vs the 215 60 17. i got about 3500 mile left on my MC tire before I need to change. I will go about the first to middle of july amd need new tire if not sooner. I am going to change but researching the options. I put about 450 to 550 a week going to work and play. I ride on my days off to fishing holes in the rivers around the area.
