Front Tire
Ok
About have the wife talked into releasing the funds for the front tire....
What are you guys recommendations????
120/90-18 is the current tire on the bike.....
Was looking at the Metzler 880 Marathon Touring 120/90HB-18......
But I want opinions......
and would really like ones with experience.....
Ride 70% by myself 30% 2 up....
Don't do rain purposefully....however, I live in central PA and drive 27 miles (one way) to work.....so rain is likely!!

Re: Front Tire
Metz 880 for me. On my second one now. They tend to last almost twicw as long as the stock dunnies.
Not minding your business but tires on a scoot should not be a "begging" item. New chrome and farkle I could almost understand. Not the necessities to keep you safe. Ok, I am off my soap box I have yet to cup a metz tire. currently at about 17k on this one and am down past the wear bars and not cupped at all. This is after riding the front bearings down to the disintegration point too. Pics coming on that later. Metz makes good rubber for the front. IMHO
See you out there

Re: Front Tire
13,000 is the best I got on a cruiser. I did get 15,000 with my BMW K1200LTC. The ME880 is a good tire.
