Cooper Zeon ZPT on the way for my F
I did have this grand scheme to let my friend who does powder coating do my wheels and the tank/fenders when I had it all off the bike....now money is tighter and I need to have a bike I can ride....so I'll let him do this stuff next winter.
Tire is on the way....got it at TreadDepot.com shipped for $114. Got a guy (father in laws friend with a tire shop) who say's he'll mount it for me for $15.00 as well. He thinks I'm nuts, but he rides a Harley so what does he know?

Ok. The tire is on. I've only put maybe two miles on it testing. I have some slight rubbing on the RH sub frame, but a little grinding will solve that issue. I'll post pics once done.

If tire only rubs on 1 side it's not centered correctly, you can loosen inner fender brace and fender strut bolts to adjust and retighten so tire is centered under brace and fender before you start hacking things off with your grinder, which is what many do unecessarily. Good Luck

I'm currently at 30psi. I haven't done much riding, but what little I did....I couldn't tell much of a difference from the MT and the CT in slow maneuvering. I have yet to run at highway speeds so....I guess I still have yet to experience it all but so far...as they say in the McD's commercials....I'm lovin it.

Sweet. That tire looks like mine but a lot less expensive. No go ride.

That tire does look sweet in there. Take it easy the first 200 miles to break it in than have fun with it. Treaddepot.com is a good place to get tires.

Thanks Kyoujin!
I was wondering about this tire 2 years ago, I'm really glad someone tried it! Keep us updated more as time wears on.

Re: Cooper Zeon ZPT on the way for my F
that is a sweet lookin tire! I think that will be my next one after I wear this one out (almost there) and get through the 200 I have mounted on another rim in the garage!
Recenter that rear fender as mentioned above and if the tire feels a little "squishy" (mine does at that low a pressure) try about 35 to 40 psi.... I started at 50 with mine and worked down....
