Myrtle Beach Polar Plunge Ride...Jan.29-30-31

I'm planning on headin' out next thursday 1-28 and making my way to the Nebo / Morganton , North Carolina area and leaving from there friday morning 1-29 for Myrtle Beach , South Carolina . As of right now I've got ( 3 ) riders that plan on going . This ride will be weather pending but as of now the forecast for next weekend looks rideable.Anyone wanting to join us we'll be staying in Myrtle Beach friday 1-29 and saturday 1-30 and attending " The Polar Plunge " on saturday busting the water is optional If interested in joining us post back here or e-mail me for plans and place to hook-up.

Nothing nailed down but staying off the super slab as much as possible. If you could meet us in Morganton friday morning that would be outstanding...Bring It...LET'S RIDE

Morganton is over an hour the wrong direction from me. That's why I was asking about the route. I'm south and east of Charlotte on the NC/SC border. Do you plan on taking 74 or go down into SC and take 9 to 501? I'll meet up with you guys somewhere, but I'd prefer not to backtrack all the way to the other side of Hickory. Call me? 5612103399

Morganton is WAY out of the way for us as well but thats where we are hookin' up with another rider. I'll store your # and call you wednesday night however Morganton would be the best place to hook-up that way there's no " Where will you be at this time or this time ".After we get together wednesday night I'll drag out a map and take a vote on the route then call you and let you know.

After checking with a map program it's closer to two hours the other way. Where are you guys gonna stay? I need to make a reservation. Sounds like a fun weekend. I would recommend getting into SC asap and maybe take 9 to 151 to 301/501. Or maybe down 74.

No need for us to go to Morganton now seems he is a fair weather biker and has been watching the weather channel to much.You can take a straight shot down I-77 and meet us in Columbia , South Carolina . We may stay in Columbia or just go for it and make the beach by thursday late evening. I've still got 3 bikes going you will be 4 . I'll give you a call when we hit the South Carolina welcome center on I-26 you can roll out then that should put us in Columbia about the same time.I sent you a PM with my cell #'s...Bring It...LET'S RIDE

weather may be an issue, but ya'll seem to do the cold and rain without any problems,, there is a chance of freezing rain/sleet/snow on the nc/sc border around charlotte,, weather in Myrtle beach,,just cold and wet..

like to ride with ya'll but have to assist my son in a move.
