What is the recomended tire for a 1300r I have a friend wanting to go Dark

Most go with the 205/65/15 or the 205/70/15.
The 70 series has a little narrower bead and seats easier. Also its just a little taller and helps with the speedo and lowers the rpms at highway speeds. Lots of choices for the tire. General Grabber, Michelyn Hydroedge, Goodyear triple tread, Douglas Xtrac (from wallyworld) are all popular choices.
Right now I am running a Yokahama Avid touring tire 205/70/15 and like it. Rides nice and smooth.
Moon informed me the other week that the best made tires have the highest speed rating. My next tire will be a high speed tire.
As you can see the choices are endless.

Thanks for the info I will pass it on ,Moon is correct the higher in the alphabet the higher the spped rating
