Pre Installation Adaptations ? Empty Pre Installation Adaptations ?

It has been suggested that before I mount my car tire, I should install new polypropylene shock mount bushing. The bushing that I was referred to were these http://www.mcmaster.com/#6389K344.
Makes good sense to me.

Then it was suggested I put a tube in my tire. Im mounting a Michelin Hydro Edge 205/70R-15 on a VTX 1300S. I need advice on the tube.

that sounds like good advice to me.
sooner or later your stock rubber shock bushings are going to be worn out .
AS far as your stock spoke rim , you can seal it ( do a search ) or you can put in a tube.
if you go with a tube, use a new motorcycle tube .
if you are going with a 205 tire then use a 180 motorcycle tube.
there are people on here that have sealed there rim and went tubeless and love it .
ether way don't forget to use moly paste on your splines when you reinstall you rear wheel.
good luck

I went with the McMaster-Carr, for $4.22 and an extra one if you mess up (dont ask) its hard to beat.
Also dont forget to turn your exhaust bolts around.
