11 days and 4360 miles :-)

Got home from my true break in trip for my ct and tallied up 4360 miles over 11 riding days. Had no problems with the ct or the bike at all other than needing a new front tire in Mesa, AZ - luckily the Biker Bay had the Metz 880 in stock and had me back on the road in about 45 minutes. I thought that I would have had plenty of miles left in the stock Dunny, but 2 12 hour days to get there in 90+ temps and constant speeds of about 85-90 ate the tire up and I was at the wear bars when I pulled into my friends house by Maricopa. We went to the southwest corner of AZ, then across to the southeast corner, then up some fun twisties in the mountains to the northeast corner, then over for a day of picture taking in the grand canyon (first time there and it was cool), then down through Sedona and Jerome and back roads home to Maricopa again. I left to come home Sunday morning and deadheaded home to try and beat the weather that was heading in and made it with no rain, just cold. Beautiful ride and look forward to doing it again next spring. Only one of the people there was questionable about the ct and the others thought that it was cool. It worked wonders and I was scraping the boards the whole way down Oak Creek Canyon :-) - Erik

Nice write up and yes....you know car tires don't work on motorcycles..... Upload your pics on photobucket or facebook or something like that! Then copy the image location and then copy and paste here using the little photo when posting a reply! Can't wait to see the pics!

Have lots more, this is just a glimpse. If anyone has the chance to ride 191 from Clifton to Alpine, it is well worth it.
