Update - Muntz
As everyone knows the economy is bad everywhere. Having been in sales all my adult life it's hit us hard. I've been exploring new options and opportunities for the last six months. Employers are being very cautious in their selections and only want seasoned vets, in their particular fields. In our area alot of it revolves around specific industrial instruments, building materials, etc.
I'm considering a big change. There are a few opportunities for me locally in the plants. Right now it looks like some labor jobs. The only problem with this is Im allergic to the sun.
Those of you that have ridden with me might remember I always wear my jacket and long sleeves underneath. I'm forever looking for a shady spot so my hands wont blister.
Anyhow, I've got an inside track with the man who does the hiring. Hopefully I will get a chance to talk with him today about working in a tool-room or being a driver of some sort. Possibly even a night job.
Currently hes paying laborers 2x more than I make. If I can find a place to fit in I think I'll just have to get outside and sweat like many of you do. I pray things will work out for me as things have been very tough financially for the past year.
I also wrecked my truck thursday. I'm ok but the truck is a little messed up, from the front wheel to the back wheel. Its still driveable, but tore up. Traffic was backed up and someone let me out to make a left and when I did, another guy driving in the turning lane hit me on the drivers side. I got the ticket for failure to yield. Anyhow I'm ready for my luck to change.
Since most construction jobs dont work if its raining and the truck is wrecked it looks like I'll be riding the bike a whole lot more.

Brother I got your back. I have a red phone to God. Me and him have an understanding. Let me do my thing and just watch what happens. You too can have a red phone. All ya gotta do is pick it up and ask from your heart. I will also keep my eyes open for opportunities for you. Then the next thing to do is Kiss the wife and spend time with your little sweetie. They have a way of keeping you in the right state of mind.
Peace and blessings and no more wheelies. You definitely don’t need that now.

Re: Update - Muntz
Tonight I had dinner at my mom's with "the Man". Actually it was my whole family and him, his wife and son. We made chineese food, egg rolls and such. When I walked in I immediately recognized him. We used to go to chruch together back before I moved. Hes a great guy and very down to earth. We talked a bit about what he had going on and about my sun allergy. Then he asked me about computers and coordinating things. He told me about a position called a Jr. Site Coordinator. Apparently its some computer work and logistics control. The project will last until the end of the year. He said that if I did a good job that I could move on to other projects that they have going on in the area. He will call some people tomorrow and get back with me. Oh yeah....Starting pay is about $6.00 more per hr. than I'm making now. He said he has guys making double what I'm making in less than a year. So if I'm good I'll be rewarded.
At the end of dinner Mom pulls out a box of fortune cookies and passed it around.
Mine:
"Happier days are definitely ahead for you.
Struggle has ended."
My Wife's:
"You will move to a wonderful new home within the year"
I figure if God can use a donkey to speak to a man, certainly he can use a fortune cookie to send me a word of encouragement. Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers. I'll keep yall updated.

Muntz,
Looks like things are starting to turn around for you. I'm so glad for you. You should probably take Mrz Muntz out for a nice romantic dinner with your first check, I think she deserves it. See you soon.
