How to get the new tire paint off
I've worn most of it off, but still have a deep red stripe. How do you guys clean the paint off of new tires?

drive a few miles of dirt road or sand and it will be gone just like magic. That's also how I wear off the new tire slick (mold release agent)'

NO NO NO Never spray any type of cleaner or solvent on your tire. You are asking to crash if you do.
Mine was gone before I knew it. If people see it they will ask what king of tire it is and you can spread the word. Help make other riders safe....

this may sound like i am being funny but i used car washing soap and a horse brush to get into the groves of the tire and washed the soap out with a water hose. You see a horse brush has long stiff bristles but wont hurt your tire.
