Search feature sucks

OK, am I the only one who can't get the search function to work?

Never used it, I will take your word for it. What you hunting for maybe we can help.

Nothing paticular right now, but I may be some time, and you can't find ANYTHING with the search feature. What if I wanted to see pics of Twin's scab collection or something?

I told the same thing to toasted......he said, "you have to use the advanced search" to find anything. I haven't found that either, but I haven't looked real hard either.


He wait a minute.....they got some pics of my scab stuff on here........ I will delete it before you can find it.

Tried the advanced search too. Nothing. How can you guys expect anyone to take you seriously when you don't even have a search feature?

We are darksiders.....who does take us serious. I guess it's something we will have to get toasted on and see what can be done about it.

You are correct hick, I tried your name in all combinations and nothing. I was just trying the word "rim". Everything came up...so I assumed it worked for every thing. I guess that's what I get for assuming.

Let me test it again...i had it working for me at least.

Alright...it works fine....look for topic or by authur...just make sure you click the BOTTOM SEARCH button.

I just tried it out and it worked for me. I looked up an author and I did a key word search. Both of them worked fine. I have a one-size-fits-all solution to computer problems. Simply log out, turn off the computer and let it restart. It works for any number of problems! :bom:

I have a better computer solution Shebear, first you start by calling it bad names, then you pound away on the keyboard, if that don't work then hit escape while telling it how wortless it is, now that it is locked up hit ctrl/alt/del again and again while telling it how much you hate it and all of it's kind. When it still continues to ignore your commands and or wishes press and hold the power button. There you showed it. Now hit the power button again and go pour yourself a glass of tea knowing that that inanimate object just kicked your ass.

We had alot of B.S.K. errors. Think about it.

Even had a few call and complain about the RR not working and the power being out...."here's your sign"

Having never used the searh feature I just went and typed in cybrhick in the BY AUTHOR function and it came back with 8 listings.

It must be the mc tires or no tire thing. ummm just saying.

That's the kid in you showing up!!! I have this theory about why kids take to computers so easily. They don't have any real concept of money and don't pay for computers. So they bash away at it until it finally works. Those of us who buy them, we are afraid to break them.

Back in my working days, we finally had the bucks to provide computers to a bunch of social worker/counselor types. I finally had to tell one of my employees (a supervisor, no less) that she no longer had computer privileges. She would run into a problem, go into DOS and, more often than not, delete everything. She had a computer at home and still did this on a regular basis. Every time she did it, she lost the work of 15 other people. She did teach others to back up their work.
