Alls Well over 8500 miles
I found my post on the other site where I measured my tread depth at 4500 miles. At that time it was 9/32". I just rechecked it tonight and 4,000 miles later it is at 8/32" on both out sides and 7/32" down the middle. What baffles me is that I have barely rubbed off any rubber in 4k miles. I checked and rechecked in 4 or 5 places to make sure I was reading it right, and they all came out the same. I may lower my air pressure from 40psi to see if I can make it a little flatter. Most of my riding is highway to and from work with one short off ramp for fun. I don't know what I have to do to wear this thing out I want to go to the wideside next. If anyone else has their wear data please post it. I believe I started at 11/32" and have not made it half way through yet.
Ride safe folks.

Papawolf....Sounds like your getting some good miles out of that tire....I don't have a comparison for you, but that is one reason I went with a 40,000 mile tire. Figured I could change tires every 2 years. Get a different look or style.....An 80,000 mile tire, not for me, that would last me probably 5 years.
Keep riding, you'll wear it out someday......

Re: Alls Well over 8500 miles
Went riding today with a bunch of guys and they all liked the CT. Most of them were VTXs, but there was a VLX and a Roadstar ridden by a state trooper that was really interested. I got the usual questions about turning and ride quality, but since I led the group on the ride up I think they all saw that it's no slouch on the road. I keep telling them all about this site and to come on over so we will see what happens.
