Re: 03 Retro G019 Bridgestone Potenza
Travis,
I like the tire although I don't have alot of time on it since I've been away from home for the last month. I was able to put around 300 miles on it before I left. When I put it on my 03 retro 1800, I ended up cutting the fender brace out a little because it looked to me like it might rub on heavy compression. It also went in a little tough, fitting by the final drive, but I was able to do it without airing the tire down. As far as pressure goes I'm running 44 psi which is the recomended psi cold. Its my 1st of many Darkside tires and with nothing to compare it to I don't know any different but it seems rock solid in the twisties ,under power, and braking. As far as seating pressure i asked the kid that installed it how much and he just told me,"not too much" . Say, back atcha on the nice looking bike. I will be home on the 8th of July and hopefully the rain will play nice and i'll be able to give some better feedback by putting on some miles. Keep the rubber side down.
