The site is up

The web site is now up, it's only a basic sight for now, but with a little bit more time and finesse it will be something to visit often. I'll continue to work on it to get it up to par but for now, here you go. VTX Darksiders

Now, in all fairness to ALL DARKSIDER's, I have intentionally used just DARKSIDE instead of singling out a certain type of motorcycle. Let's face it, there are more and more joining us everyday with a wide variety of motorcycles in use. Kind of makes me wonder when we'll see a HD join our ranks.

I've known several who were interested, but they have less room to move tire sizes to get something that will fit...

Actually, you can already access this forum through the new web site. Makes it easier to remember the name.

Darksiders.com was already taken and it has a way different theme than we do. So I went with vtxdarksider. Eventually we will have our own forum over there and email accounts for some members also. I think now it is sized to allow 100 email accounts and unlimited pages of forum and other stuff.

We need input from all to help it grow.

Cool, guess I should have looked darsiders.com up before opening my mouth again, but I don't think I want to look there, I dont care for way different themes.
Hope I can come up with an idea or 2.

Yeah, Darksiders.com is definitely not our theme. I looked it up at work and and let's just say, I hope they don't check my viewing history.

I might suggest changing the color scheme a bit. The blue on black is hard to read. Just my 2 centavos though.

it too is a wok in progress, I am thinking that we may let it lie for a while now though that we have changed our name here, I went ahead and reserved the same name .com So we can keep it together.

there are a few "topics" on the forum that ought to be transferred to the website.

For instance, when I first came to the board, I wanted "a recipe" for installing a CT. With all the chatter (not complaining), it's difficult to find what I wanted. For things like these, it would be a good idea to create a faq or specific topics, that could be referenced from the forum.

The scar mod, the baffle mod, the foots mod, and whatever would be much easier to find, more suscinct, and printable.

I think the web site is a great augmentation to the forum. REALLY like the tire video. Wish we had a video of twin doing a wheelie.

I personally would have like to see The Muntz Stunt. I am sure it would be better with him not getting boogered up, but I bet it was some funny to see.

I can't say about how it looked but I was laughing my ass off when he said, I was doing a burnout and and and. I laughed at (umm umm I mean with) a brother through all his agony. Tis all good though he got me back when I was dying of the flu
