Do i have to chage the final drive from my 1300C when switching to an 1800C rim?

No...you don't even have to open it up...there are drain intervals but all the plugs are on the outside facing you. I'd have to look up the service intervals.

Service it at 10,000 miles when you pull the wheel to lube the splines.

yeah, lube the splines with moly every 10k and drain/flush the fluid every 24k.
