He walked up to me and asked me to crank it up for him while I was waiting for you guys to finish suiting up. I revvvved it for him a little bit and he smiled and said if he could ride, his ride would have sounded the same way. He was cripple in his hands. So, I chatted with him a little bit and thanked him for the compliment on my bike.

Ask them to tell you about the locals I talked to and the free pie......hehehehehe

Just wish I didn't have to leave saturday.....

If any of you are in Mt. Ida.....stay at Crystal Inn. Very nice people. Down to earth.

This would have been great with 2 bikes or 20. Yes, the locals were very nice people. All of them. Curtious to drive with and all. Lots of bikes up there.

About the pie. Bobby flirted with the waitress at the inns restaurant, goes up to look at the pie and walks back to the table with the pie tin with a huge piece of pie in it. As the waitress leans over to give him the ticket she smiled and says "you didn't have to pay for yours." What was that line about the tea, Bobby? Sweeten it with a kiss? I should remember it, heard it 3 times. We busted him out the 3rd time and told the waitress he was going for free pie.

In all honesty, I think that must have been a pretty good line. Hubby told me when he paid for the check, none of us paid for our pie. Didn't work so well the 2nd time, so we busted him out the 3rd. He lost the touch, I guess.

You really want to see what happens when Darksiders get together...hehehehe The whole mountain spontaneously combusted and caught fire when we rode by. I asked the group who did this and ALL of them raised their hands.

Hey hey now ..... I resemble that remark. Nope no oil leaks for my scoot, just a hurry up job with some fasteners trying to get it together to get down there. I am such a procrastanator that I swear I am gonna be late to my own funeral, hell I aint even gonna show up so yall go ahead and start the party now. I'll join ya when I am ready

Well things on the VTXOA just havent been the same since the Darksiders Rally. It keeps crashing and burning. Maybe we need to chip in for some Viagra for them so that can keep it up.

I woulda been there. The 18th was the day I remember them asking me what the date was and I said it was the 8th. That's when I realized I was not really there. Trust me, I would have given anything to have been with you guys instead of where I was.

It won't happen again!

I'll do my level best to be there next year. You guys just had way too much fun to miss.

It was plenty of fun. We laughed so much we had to stay on the road so we could catch our breath. You know the wind blowing in your face. Twin will keep you in stitches. I don't think the people that we met thought we were the typical biker group. It was really a great time. I cannot wait for the next rally. I hope that by the Grace of God you will be able to make the next one.

I'll just have to wait til next year. It's nice to know I'm wanted. I'd love to meet all of you in person.

Talked to Twin and he told me there is plans being made to go to Deals Gap next year to ride the Dragon. SmokinJoe lives somewhere in the area so we will have a guide if he is available. He says that there are a lot of good roads to ride in his area. It should be great fun.

Lol! When it rains it pours! I already have plans for meeting up with my MC for our annual Midsummers meet which will be at Deal's Gap. I know it's supposed to be a great road and all, but I'm only half interested in riding the tail of the dragon. Guess I'll be doing it more than once next year. I'm not afraid to ride it, I just prefer to take roads that others don't. I remember one road we took down Mt. Pisgah that was an absolute dream. I have no idea what road it was, just something coming off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully, my finances will improve by then.
