Re: Yokohama AVID ENVigor ZPS
Hey old friend...
I remember a few using the non run flat version of this tire on their 1800 VTXs with good reviews.
I dunno about the run flat tire, that tread pattern looks interesting...
Tire Rack has done a comparison, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=164
and they ranked it last of the 4 they looked at.
But that was using them on 4 wheel vehicles...
I'll keep on the look out for any info I run across.

I have always run a khumo and wanted to try something different. I did not like the Alpin cause the sipping on the tire is not symmetrical. I went ahead and ordered the Yoko. I will post the results. I found more info with it on a GW. Seems to get good reviews.

Re: Yokohama AVID ENVigor ZPS
Not sure what you meant about the Michelin Alpin not being a symmetrical tread. Unless you are refering to the summer tire, The Primacy HP.
The Winter tire the Alpin PA3 is shown below, and is the Michelin tire most Wingers are using.
Michelin Alpin PA3 195/55/16
There is a good thread on GL1800 Darksider from Ohiowinger using the Yoko. For aggressive riders, tread life isn't great. But that is true for a lot of tires

I run this tire and I like it. It's my second ct on the wing. I had a Falken non run flat first.
I have about 19k miles on it and its just about shot.
I'm pretty spirited when riding. I run 32 psi and have pulled a trailer for about 1/2 of the life of the tire.
