A leap of faith - 07 Nomad 1600 Double Darkside
Hi folks! I too decided to take a leap and ordered a car tire Dunlop SP5000- 195/60/16 for the rear and Metzler 880 @ 150/80/16 rear MC tire for the front (double darksider?!?). Now, i hope to find someone to help me install them on my '07 Nomad 1600.
I'm all about savings and longevity. I did my first long trip out to Strugis last summer, 5400 miles in 11 days - it was amazing! My tires are pretty cupped and need replacing soon... SO, i figured DARK SIDE it is.
Thanks for all the encouragement from this site! I guess my next steps are: dynabeads and a place to get it installed. I also need to get the splines lubed as it's never been done, and it's already at 30k miles!
I'll keep you posted.
grace & peace,
PastorEusun

Sounds like a great plan. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
