2006 VN800, want to go to the darkside, but I'm lost!

I would LOVE to head to the darkside, and join all of ya'll, with my bike. However, I'm lost! I don't know what I should look for, I don't know what tires would fit, nothing. Total newbie. I DO know I'm running stock tires, and original rims. Will I need to purchase a new wheel? Will I need to put the tire on myself, somehow? Etc.
How do I get started on the path to the darkside. Thanks for the help guys!

Spirit, I found what I believe to be the last Vredestein comtrac . anywhere ever ;} 175/75 /16 almost exact to the 140/90/16 stock size on a '96 800A model . On a wire rim mounted by a hd dealer. ouch!! check out the "Coker Austone" ?? in that size . I have about 2500 miles on and no regrets. Good luck .
