Hey there guys! Been a while. Figured I'd poke my head in and ask a question.

I found a tire that I think looks badass, and I can get it for my bike for around 75 bucks. it's a winter tire though, and looks like it would pick up pennies off the contrete. So what I'm wondering is, is the tire going to wear out sooner since it's made to grip the ground. I'd rather go with another Douglas or an altimax then have this tire and only get 5-10K. It's the Michilin X-Ice. I think it looks badass and am half temped to try it. Figured I'd see if y'all had any opinions on it.

I'm looking for a 205/70-15 this time around. I've been completely satisfied with the Douglas and may just go with it again. I haven't looked at my records, but I'm pretty sure I've ridden around 15K on it.

I switched from a General Grabber to a Michelin HydroEdge
and am real happy with how much smoother the ride is now. thumbup
