Fork seals? Empty Fork seals?

Post  ttexastim Sun Feb 24, 2008 11:28 pm

So I got my progressive springs, and will put them in soon. However, tonight I was looking close at my bike and realized that my right fork has begun leaking. I saw fork oil on the fork tube, and a the lower fork was beginning to attract dirt and stuff from the oil running down it. When you see this, does it mean you need to replace the seal on the fork? I'd hate to put in my new springs and fork oil, just to have the oil leak out.

Yep, might as well replace both fork seals while doing the springs.
