New to the DarkSide
Well after reading on this forum for a couple months now, i finally decided to do it. All i can say is SMOOTH!!!! Corners great, which was my biggest concerned; i ended up putting a Michelin Hydro Edge on it and love it. I do have one concern; anyone worry about what happens with a blowout???

Welcome to the darkside. The more miles you put on it the better you will like it.
I never think about it blowing. Never thought about it with a mt either.

Re: New to the DarkSide
Congrats and welcome!
Same thing happens if you have a blow out on a motorcycle tire...you are in for a heck of a ride if you are doing hiway speed. My friend on his brand new HD blew a MT on the interstate going to a rally two up and like to never got it under control to get pulled over to the side of the interstate! He said it's the most scariest thing he ever had happen to him!
By the way..what bike did you put it on??

Thanks, your pics look great.
It's a Memphis Shades Batwing and I love it.
Saving my lunch money to get it painted.

Re: New to the DarkSide
Thanks Doc, thats what i needed to know, they are much more reasonable in price than the Kuryakyn ones. They one i looked at on ebay comes in a black gloss, is it paint quality? Btw, saw on your profile your from NE Oklahoma , I'm in the Tulsa region; was just wondering if your close.

Re: New to the DarkSide
The MS is ABS plastic. It's a good molding and needs very little prep before painting.
If you like black it comes in a nice shiny gloss black.
I'm just outside of Tahlequah.

Re: New to the DarkSide
Congrats and welcome.
The tire looks great on the bike.
Like Bobby said, with a blow out you'll have the same problems as with a MT.
I wouldn't think about it that much, just blow your MT buddies away.
Robert.
