Oil Pump Chain Empty Oil Pump Chain

I got into my bike today to change the clutch, and I saw that the oil pump drive chain had a ton of slack in it. I don't have a manual, but I was wondering if anyone knew how much slack the chain should have? My bike has 45,000 miles on it. What is the service interval on the the oil pump chain, and the timing chains too? Thanks in advance.
