Went Dark Sider today!

Been snooping for about a year. I have an 08 GL 1800,air bag and stuff. I'm an engineer and the R & D that you guys have done is incredible. Installed a YOKO R/F 195-55-16 today and overall control is superior to the mt tire. Somebody took it up to 120mph and couldn't believe the the contol of the bike. Thanks for the info but I need to get a sticker because I am now a true dark sider. Best regards Steve.

Congrats I just did it this week myself and I agree superior handling and longer life can't go wrong I also watched this board and learned from it and appreciate all who went before us to make it so easy for us!

Steve, welcome. You will find lots of good info and lots of good guys on here. If you are not a member of gl1800riders.com I recommend that site also. There is a darkside subforum and lots of great wing tech info on there. Oh, but wait. ou are an engineer so we wont let you play with tools. Laughing

JUST KIDDING!!!! I have a buddy that is an engineer and rag him hard all the time. But he is truly a guy that needs to stay away from all tools. Has a beautiful shop with anything you need. Just never learned to turn a wrench. His dad is an engineer that tinkers with everything. Awesome guy can build anything you can dream up.
