Another Newbie Going Dark..TIRE IS ON!!!!Check out the Pics!!!!
I have a 2003 1800C. Just bought the tire today. Riken Raptor 205/55ZR16. Great looking tread pattern and it looks the same on both sidewalls. Can't wait to get it put on next week. I see a lot of things about balancing the tire. Are DynaBeads really the best way to go or is normal balancing still ok?

RE ANOTHER NEWBIE GOING DARK
Either means of balancing will work it just seems that the magic beads are a more permanent balance as they re ballance every time you start moving.Comes down to personal choice I guess.

Thanks. I'll see what the guy who is installing it offers.

Make your own mind - many installers have their heads in the past and won't do dyna beads. Were I to do it again, I'd go for RideOn instead, so I have flat protection too.

A pic of the tire will be appreciated.
Beads or the old fashioned way is up to you. The beads are
more permanent as mentioned above.
Keep us posted about the tire.

2003 VTX 1800C with a RIKEN RAPTOR 205/55zr16
Pics show clearances in all areas. This should help with some of the tire size questions. It's close but no rub riding 1up. Will probably have to adjust shocks for 2up. I used .12 gram AIRSOFT Beads and so far it feels great. Haven't got up to high speeds yet though. Will post updates asap.
