I was able to have installed a 205 60 r16 Bridgestone G019 Potenza on a 2009 1700 Kawasaki Voyager.

What tire pressure did you end up with? I have an '09 Nomad 1700 and the swingarms are the same so when spring hits I am changing it out. Also did you have to drop the bag and pipe on the bike to remove the axle?
Thanks.

Kawasaki 2009 1700 Voyager gone to Darkside. Empty tire pressure

Post  rcconch Sun Jan 16, 2011 2:31 pm

I am currently at 42 lbs pressure in rear tire. When mechanic installed we jacked up the backend of the bike to let tire fall bellow bags and pulled the rear axle.

Also, removing one end of both shocks will allow the rear tire/rim to drop a bit lower and make it even more easy.
