Tire Sizes?
General Question.........
I measured my fender and swing arm clearance. to be on the safe side it is 7.75" or 196.85 millimeters.
So, I'd say that means the largest we could use safely to clear the fender and swing arm would be a 195 millimeters??
But as an interesting note: I measured my tire which all know is a 165/80/15. It measured right around 6 inches wide. which converts to 152.4 millimeters. So, does the 165 really mean 165 millimeters??
Now, I wonder if a 195 or larger would work if they are not a full 195 millimeters for the sidewall??
I'd like to go wider with at least a 195 if it'd clear my stock fender and swing arm.
Thanks for the help!

I think I would have to change my sheets if I found out that we can run 205's on our shadows. That is a nice dream!!!

Re: Tire Sizes?
I want to go 205 after I get used to the 165. I love wide tires. I know you wont see much from under that R fender, but I'll know and that makes all the difference.
