dyna beads Empty dyna beads

Post  maurice Sun Jan 17, 2010 9:14 pm

Ok, i was so excited going darkside and getting tire on that I didn't research ahead of time dyna beads. I read where many put them in at time of tire install. I did not. What do I do. Seems smooth riding although didn't take to 80mph but only for a moment, and wind very strong in N. Florida today so not sure if smooth enough. Also, how are dyna beads added in tire after installed on bike, in valve stem after removing core? let me know pls. Thanks

Your right, put them in through valve stem with core removed. ( slow process and will proubably require vibrating the tube that you are feeding them through) Laughing Laughing

You mean the stem that I am putting them through Larry? This is tubeless tire. Just want to be clear so I don't mess anything up.

I understand it is a tubeless. You will have to connect a tube to the top of your valve stem to put beads in from the bottle or a funnel. Laughing Laughing

Some have used art sand from your local Hobby Lobby for nearly nothing. 3 oz. in rear and 2 oz. in frt. and remove old weights.

Sounds dangerous to me ,sand is very abrasive, could virtualy cut tire in half from the inside. scratch scratch scratch

Was thinkin the same thing. Take the money you saved and buy the beads. At the end of the day you will be happy you did.
