Day after Christmas ride to The Dragon
We rolled out this morning with temps in the mid 20's and clear sky over-head. Hooked up with my ridin' buddy Paul and headed toward US 129 The Dragon.

Re: Day after Christmas ride to The Dragon
When we rolled into the over-look a dude from Canada was out just diggin' the view.
This guy was out touring America on backroads and had scored a couple bike's along the way . A 1959 non-running Ducati he bought in Wisconsin and claim's he got on the internet and found a Ducati restorer ( mechanic ) in Ohio and took the motor off at his house for him to rebuilt. He also had a 1947 Sparta ( I did a google hoping to find a picture ) but no luck.

Re: Day after Christmas ride to The Dragon
We made our way on into Robbinsville , North Carolina for lunch and stopped at The Fugitive Dam for a couple shots. The real name for this dam is Cheoah Dam but after the movie The Fugitive when Harrison Ford jumped off it everyone started callin' it The Fugitive Dam ( and yes I know Harrison Ford did'nt really jump off it ...but his double did...watch the flick

Re: Day after Christmas ride to The Dragon
The river that runs beside US 129 between Deals Gap and Robbinsville was rockin' today I don't think I've ever seen it that high it was in the trees and damn near in the road. All along the way every ridge gorge had a waterfall pouring out of it. This is my favorite picture of the day I've had this bike 12 years this coming june and I still love it nothing out there on todays market as far as cruiser would ever make me want to sell it. It runs just as good today maybe even better as it did in 1998 when I got it.I ride it like I stole it and it always brings me home.
