kumho darkside tire on my 2001 spirit has about 2000 miles on it. luck of the draw i guess picked up a nail. it is halfway between edge of tire and firsr grove in tire . patch it or replaceit? if patch remaove and patch or plug tire? still has lots of tread

If it were mine I would patch, and wouldnt take it off the bike.
Some guys dont like to plug them, but that just me.
Or, it would be a excuse for going bigger, and put a 205 on there.
If you dont ride in the winter,you have time to think about it

I am guessing you are runing tubeless,I would use one of the umbrella plugs ,they actually form a boot on the inside. Just what I would do. Very Happy Very Happy

I use the mushroom vulcanizing plugs myself. Personally I would plug it and ride the piss out of it. Just me though.

I pulled mine and had it patched on the inside a couple years and thousands of miles ago...

Don't go to the trouble of pulling the tire down...plug it! I have done 3 plugs on my car tire on my bike and at least 30 on my truck and wife's car. Not one failure!
