Finally riding again

Hey all, finally got a bike to replace my totalled one. Bought an 02 VTX 1800C on Friday and rode it the 150 miles home on Saturday in the rain. Didn't mind the rain much, got really wet and cold. I enjoyed the entire ride, guess it's because it's been nearly a month that I haven't had a bike. I absolutely love this bike, handled great, even with the mt on it. I will be taking this bike to the darkside as well. I really don't like to turn that often, so a ct would suit me fine. Bike is a bit dirty in these pics after riding in the rain all day. Have fun all and ride safe.Don't know what the hell happened, tried to post pics and they got deleted by photobucket, will try again.

IMO a bike should look a little dusty with a Few bug splats on it. Means it is ridden not stored.
Did you get a deal or did you settle just to get back on. I forget what you were riding before. Same bike?
Anyway. Glad you are back on two and smileing. Again good looking bike.

I agree about a bike being a little dirty, but I also it to really shine at times. I got a decent deal on it, paid a little under what it books for. I really loved the blue when I got to see it in person. I had three or four other bikes I was willing to go look at, but this was the one I wanted to look at first, since I liked it I bought it. My other ride was an 06 Kawasaki meanstreak, this new bike stomps the hell out of the other bike. More power with a better power curve. Thanks all for the compliments.
