I don't have an 1800 but just wanted to welcome you to the best forum on the internet.
Someone with an 1800 will be along to help soon , have fun and look over all the sticky's,
you can find out a lot of info from going through the long timer Darksider's posts and read what they talk about.
good luck , have fun.

205/60 or a 205/65 (closest to stock size for your speedo) Cool

For a well proven, good handling and riding tire, that fits without clearance mods, and improves speedo accuracy, I'd go with a 205/65-16 Michelin HydroEdge

Be sure to tell the mechanic to use a remote type chuck. One that he can lock on and stand away from the tire while filling it. This should be a common practice but all too often complacency has set in. There have been 2 seperate occasions where someone was trying a new tire and the side wall blew out resulting in injure to the mechanic. I seat all my own and have a rack built to stand the tire in while inflating. Make sure you clean the seating area real well and use lots of lude.

Good luck and welcome

See you out there

I went with a Nexen n2000 205/50/16. The 50 provides a low porfile look with only about a 3 mile differents in the speedo . With the awesome tread pattern on the Nexen n2000 tire and the low profile of the 50 my 1800c looks and rides SWEET!!

I take it that after you got the bike you shortened the bags and made them even.
great looking tire and bike.
