Short Legs- tire suggestions....
HI all,,,
Been a while since I was here but I have not stopped thinking about a CT for my 2005 VTX1800N. But it's time now, as one of my friends keep telling me.. Pull the trigger girl! ha ha Okay that said, I have some concerns about height as I am vertically challenged so to speak. ( 5' 2" ) I am running an Avon Venom low profile that needs replacing like NOW. I have looked at the GY TT but am unsure whether to go with a 60, 55 or even a 45 ( does GY even make a 45?) With the low profile tire and Progressive 440's I can comfortably flat foot (with the aid of some "herman munster boots" ) so if there's any one out there that can help me out with some suggestions I'd appreciate it. Also with the N fender is the width going to be a problem? Thanks for listening!

Re: Short Legs- tire suggestions....
LOL Thanks for the reply anyways Jerry.... Seems like there are more 1300 darksiders than 1800, but I'm hoping someone can help me out. Appreciate the compliment as well. LOL Can't wait to get my CT and get some miles in before the end of riding season!
Have a good one!

Re: Short Legs- tire suggestions....
The Toyo T1R 195/55/16 is shorter than the stock motorcycle tire, should make you closer to the ground without sacrificing performance, and I rode my friends 1800 with it and liked it very much. I would not go any shorter as it makes the ridding a lot stiffer and the profile a lot flatter! JMO deb!

Re: Short Legs- tire suggestions....
Thanks for the input Twin..... I already thought going with a 55 would probably be my best bet. A friend of mine, Spud is using the hankook 205/55/16 on a retro, I sat on it and it did feel pretty good. He offered to let me ride it, but I have this thing about borrowing someone else's ride. lol Appreciate you taking the time to respond, this IS a great place to visit!!
