Driving Lights
I posted this at the Haven and thought some of you guys might use it:
Ok ... here's what I have come up with. I know it works on my "C" but it should work on the others as well. I went to Lowes and found these conduit clamps:
They were 77 cents each. The part number is 49130
This is how the lights mounted to them:
The clamps were 1 1/4" and fit perfectly around my fork tubes right under the turn signal:
This is the finished product:
I still have to wire them up and aim them but I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out.
Now the hard part ... I need a name for my mod ... I was thinking of calling it the "Biddy Box" but I hear that's taken. How about "Leon Lights"??

Re: Driving Lights
Careful with those lights. I have the same pair. When I went to replace the bulbs, it loosened up the "back" connection. Now they are kind of intermittant. If you have encountered this and have a solution, let me know.
I went ahead and got the kuryakyn clamps...probably go with the large bullets at some point. I also have the "Gonzo" wiring harness. On my Spirit, the switch assy is the weak point and lights going through this burns it out faster. Teh Gonzo harness bypasses the switch assy. FYI.

Re: Driving Lights
I have the same Wal-mart lights on my light bar , they are tricky about changing the bulbs and the ones that come with it are cheap bulbs.
I put a drop of RTV on the inside of the ring so it wouldn't fall off from viberation. As far as the plug on the back of the bulb , you could push a paper clip along side the metal to make it snug but you might have to check the wires and solder a better connection on the back of it ,(cheap wires too).
if you have a multimeter you can check the OHMs and find out if it is the wires.
Good luck

Re: Driving Lights
when I had those, I put a self tapping screw from bottom side so the bezel will not fail off.
Re: Driving Lights
I put a screw in mine also.
