Today's Ride...Rally to replace Honda Hoot

Big Al and I started out this morning to ride to Pressman's Home in east Tennessee but changed our minds about mid-stream. The Smoky Mountain Rally in Loudon Park claimed it would take up the slack the Honda Hoot left when it did'nt come to Knoxville this year. It was $10.00 to get in we rode by stopped in the parking lot and talked to a few folks. We saw maybe 60 to 70 bike ( all brands ) and I counted 8 vendor tents needless to say we took off so Al could get a Dragon sticker for his new Kawasaki KLR 650. Photo below is Big Al's new bike I rode it from Foothills Parkway to Maryville today its a pretty cool machine does'nt have alot of power but it will cruise 80/85 mph all day long.

Deals Gap was makin' money hand over fist today.

Saw LaMonster and his Bad A$$ Can-Am Spyder today . Lamont if you see this its always a pleasure talking with you He let me ride this when he first got it . You can sure tell he has put his touch to it now. Without a doubt the best lookin' Spyder I've seen.

We saw a ton of old British motorcycles today I should have got a few more shots.

Woo hoo 4 more wakeups til the B&G ride. Looking forward to riding again Joe. Are you staying at the hotel thursday night? I expect to ride in to knoxville about 5 or so. Then the ride north on friday. Cant wait.

Cool I didnt know you was coming to Knoxville and yes Big Al and I will be there around 6:00 thursday evening . We plan to all ride over to the Texas Roadhouse between 7:00 / 8:00 for supper. I'm lookin' forward to it also my friend and glad you made the call to ride with us out of K-Town.( Check my post on the VRCC ) ...Bring It...LET'S RIDE
