I've been reading everything i can find on this for the last few months, and after buying a new bridgestone g 701 and installing it riding 100 miles only to have a pocket knife blade ruin it that i picked up somewhere on the road the same day, decided to go ahead and make the swap. I bought a Goodyear triple tread 205 60 16 for my bike and found someone to install it in the morning. I only hope i enjoy it as much as the rest of you seem to. Cool

it's done....only got to ride about 25 miles are so, but i can tell i'm already getting used to the difference. I went with the gytt 205/60/16 and i can feel the little extra push you gotta give it, but i can feel the back push to the outside a little in curves. is this normal or am i just being overly sensitive??? Question

It will try to correct itself as power is applied because now you have grip..hehehehehe Just learn the ways of the darkside and it will treat you well. (I know that was corny, but true).

It's natural to get overly sensitive to a mod like this, since it's your tires...you always should be sensitive to how you bike handles and reacts because it's your lifeblood while riding! Don't worry, the car tire will earn your trust! It did me!

ok now i'm gettin the hang of it....boosted the pressure from 36-41 and it makes a heck of a difference; no more shift in the back when cornering. At 36psi, when i'd go into a corner i could feel the backend shift to the outside of the corner some; now, it just grips and goes!!!! Thanks for all the help from you guys!!! Very Happy Laughing cheers
