312 miles today and I came close to this....

Took the BADMOJO to the local dealer this morning to see how we could trade. We finally agreed on a price for my bike and he came off his " alittle ". It's a 2001 with bling out the a$$ and low miles. After I rode to the credit union to get my money I just kept on ridin'. The BADMOJO was feelin' good so I headed for the Carolina mountains.

I'd like to have it but I don't want to lose a Valkyrie to get it and thats the only way I could explain it to the ol'lady that I traded for it . If it comes home with me that 12 foot windshield will be meeting my jig-saw.

This slide has been on Foothills Parkway 3 to 4 years. Today they was working on it.

I've never seen it this low and I've been ridin' to Deals Gap since the early 80's.Thats the old road thats been under water.And the towers are on dirt .

You folks that ride The Dragon I took this from the bridge that they jump off. I never knew there was another bridge under water.

Will " The Fall Color Ride " next weekend hit the peak colors .... I hope so

No law on The Dragon today I made 4 passes and had a blast.

Yeah I heard from them, I got an email .... never a good sign. I found from another source that I had the job until they got word (backdoor from my manager I am sure) about my restricted drivers license. Thats alright for now. Gives me more time to get my ducks lined up for a move. I am sure they will be posting another job. They have been averaging a job a year or so. Not sweating it for now, but I sure hate to spend another winter up here.

I have it on good word that Moon is indeed a pretty good sized fella with a healthy appetite. Good thing about it is that he has a good job that he could travel to. Now, fold his income into the mix and you could go get a new wing

Yes I am a biggun. 6'2' 290 lbs. That is why I ride a 1800. On a lot of other bikes I look like a fat kid on a BMX.

Great pics Joe....There was a whole lot of bling on that wing......I know you have mentioned before about selling BADMOJO, but she is a one person bike. When riding you know its just you and her on the road together and you don't have to share her with anyone else. That has to be a great feeling with a bike like her. I don't think I could part with her if she was mine.......

With times as they are I think I'll just keep what I have they are " paid for " and with the financial mess the world is in that could be a wonderful thing

Good decision. The wings are good if you fit them, I'm too long legged to be comfortable on one. The big concern withthat one is it's year. A good friend of mine has a 2002 and he told me to not even consider one older than a 2004 as they had all kinds of issues. If they have been fixed then they will be fine, just make sure they have been addressed cause riding one aggressive will make those issues show up.

On his 2002 He has had a new frame due to the old one breaking
Had his engine rebuild due to two spun bearings

Also had a lot of little stuff that I don't remember but those were the two big ones, frame being the main one and the frame issues were addressed on the '04 and up models.

BTW< he has almost 100,000 miles on his which is pretty good for a guy living in northern WY!
