This morning I went through my first panic stop on the CT. I was behind a car that stopped very quickly at a yellow light. I thought he would go through the intersection, so when he stopped I hit the brakes hard. I'm usually prepared to feather the rear brake when I feel it lock up and start to fishtail. No fishtail even though I left a nice short line of black rubber on the asphalt. The X stayed upright and straight.

So far I'm not seeing any reason to want or need to go back to an MT.

Awesome! CT's have quite a few good things about them. I'm glad it kept you safe!

I know, ain't it great. Steve stopped in front of me the other night and caught me off guard. I clamped down hard and the bike stopped as smooth as silk.

I have practiced emergency breaking with my ct several times and have locked it up and the bike has always stated nice and straight. I haven't tried to lock it up in a curve for obvious reasons, but have hit them very hard and it still works great.
