car tire pres.

hello i just have joined the darkside forum. have to put a new cluctch in my 1300s o3, so i thought
i go ahead and put that kumho tire on i bought last yr.just a few questions what is the tire pressure
most people run ? some of you may know me from the vtxoa board ....trell p.s. i have c back rim

just found the answer on this site did a search 40to 48 psig. thanks

+1 It should do you fine. Be sure you get the mold release off. It takes a little longer to get off than the motorcycle tire.

Mold release is the solvent,oily stuff used to get the rubber to come out of the molds. It generally takes a short time to wear it off. It is on all tires. Generally it does not cause a problem but we just want to put it out there that it is there and to use caution for the first hundred miles or so. All tires have it yes even mc tires, thats why it is recommened that you scuff them in before riding it hard.

i knew that i was to ride for a couple hundred miles before tire break in ,but
i never knew that it was called mold release. just goes to show you even at 60yrs. old you still
can learn a thing or two...thank for vthe reply

Anytime brother, That's what the forum is about. I won't tell you where I learned about the mold release from.......... I would hate for Twin's head to swell anymore
