Front tire wear
Is it pretty common to see front tires wear much more on one side than the other? Is it from crowned roads? Steering bearing problems or alignment problems? Or is it just the nature of the beast?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Front tire wear
Road crown, direction/tightness of turns/inside lane stuff...lots of theories, but yes, it's common and really, the nature of the beast.
Re: Front tire wear
Common situation, but not a problem.
Left turns are longer and require more lean than right turns are the thought. Road crown, especially two lane roads is another thought.

Common problem. The thing that sucks is the cost of them. Really sucks. Did I mention the cost sucks.

Re: Front tire wear
Check ebay for tires. I got a perelli for $60 last time, including shipping. Date was 2004, but I go through a tire a year, so as long as I have two years left on it, I'm good.
there is a date stamp on every tire. It's recommended not to ride on a tire over 6 years old.
